Online Courses

“Making Your Case” is a free online learning program designed for use by people with disabilities, family members, and concerned citizens. The 3 hour course will teach you how to effectively "tell your story" to policymakers; identify which policymakers would be most helpful in bringing about positive change; write effective letters and emails; conduct productive meetings with policymakers; give effective testimony and answers to questions; and organize with others to address important issues. The program can be accessed any time.

Partners In Employment is a free online course to help people with disabilities find meaningful jobs and jumpstart their careers.

Web-Based Tools

There is a new web course available on Abuse and Neglect of Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities.  While targeted to healthcare professionals, it is valuable for anyone interested in this area of advocacy.  CEU’s are available. For more details, download the course flyer.
